Attaching information to pages
You may add two types of information to a page in transLucid, a URL (=web-address, http://www.cnn.com) and/or a file. This information will be displayed to your site visitors in all standard transLucid layouts (read here on the common features of tL layouts)
| Attaching a URL Place the cursor inside of the input-field left to 'Add URL' and type in the web-address (example: http://www.pantha.net). Click on 'Add URL' to complete the URL-attachment process. Hint to advanced users: Links can have the form of ftp:// or mailto: of course as well. The contents of the URL field will be converted into a link in the tL layout. |

File-attachment Click on 'Browse File' to select the file you would like to attach. Click 'Attach' to complete the attachment process. transLucid will upload the selected file to your directory and will be visible for visitors of your site. Certain file-types can be uploaded by default, additional ones can be added in the Admin area. |
Changing name of page
Within the same pane where information can be attached to a transLucid page, the name of the page itself can be changed. For this, modify the content of the input-field to the right of your page-number (or page-id). Clicking on the button 'Rename' will complete the renaming process.
